Once again Adidas has played around with the thickness of the stripes on the home kit. After introducing thinner stripes for the 2011/12 season, this kit reverts back to the five main stripes similar to the 2010/11 edition. The black strip down the middle helps accentuate the main sponsor logo which is maintained in the centre of the kit. Additionally it also highlights the biggest feature of this new kit, the thick white turnover collar. The Adidas logo and AC Milan club crest remain on the right and left hand side of the chest respectively. The golden star, worn after winning ten Italian Serie A titles, is found above the club crest. Adidas stripes are found atop the red half of the sleeve, with the inner arm of the sleeve and cuff being black. The other minor detail to note is the introduction of a thin green piping which starts at the right hand side of the collar and curves to the top of the right sleeve.
After winning the 2010/11 Serie A title, AC Milan will be looking to pick up another couple of titles to achieve their second golden star. This retro 2012/13 home kit will please old and new fans alike.
